Galaxies

within each of us, there
is a galaxy.
it starts out small,
with a big bang.
it destroys,
and creates.
stars are born,
which reflect in your eyes.
the sizzle of contact between us,
just two meteors smashing together.
when you smile,
the sun shines through and you glow.
when you cry,
it rains and puts out your light.
within each of us,
there is a galaxy.
and yours and mine,
is
part of one.
